FrostLine Trips was born from a simple obsession: the magic of standing on a frozen lake at dawn, drilling your first hole, and watching the line drop into crystal-clear winter water below.

Founded in 2018 by lifelong angler and certified guide Marcus Holt, FrostLine started as a one-man operation on Lake Clearwater. Today we operate at 12 stunning winter locations, employing 14 certified guides, and have hosted over 1,200 families from more than 30 countries.

Our mission is simple: to make professional ice fishing accessible, safe, and unforgettable for every family — regardless of their experience level.

How FrostLine Grew
Season by Season

2018

Born on the Ice

Marcus Holt launches FrostLine Trips with one guide, one location, and a vision to share ice fishing magic with families everywhere. First season: 48 families served.

2019

First Expansion

Three new guides join the team. FrostLine expands to four fishing locations and introduces the children's ice fishing program that would become one of our signature offerings.

2021

Premium Package Launch

We introduce the Weekend Ice Fishing Escape package with heated lakeside cabin accommodation. Demand exceeds supply immediately — we sell out the entire first winter season.

2023

International Recognition

FrostLine Trips is featured in three major travel publications and named "Best Family Winter Experience" by Winter Adventures Magazine. Team grows to 10 guides across 9 locations.

2026

Today — Stronger Than Ever

14 guides, 12 locations, 1,200+ families served. FrostLine Trips is proudly one of the most trusted names in guided family ice fishing in North America, with plans to continue growing.
